Angle Lens Fisheye

very wide angle (not fisheye) lens?
my camera has a 1.5x focal length converter. for landscape photography I'm going to want to have a wide angle lens, but to be able to get something like 20mm (35mm equiv) I'm going to need something like a 13mm lens, but anything that wide will be fisheye. i was looking at a 25mm zeiss lens, but that will give a 37.5mm equivalent. is that alright for landscapes? also, does anyone know of a lens that is enough of a wide angle without having too much distortion that's ideal for landscapes (nikon F mount), or is 37.5mm ok? thanks and sorry if my question was a bit confusing.
Take a look at the AF-S DX Zoom Nikkor 12-24mm f4G IF-ED.
The only thing to consider with this lens is that its designed for the smaller sensor of the D40, D60, etc. It can't be used on the D3 or D700 full-frame sensor cameras. Well, you could use it but your pictures would be circular since the image circle won't cover the full 24x36mm frame of the D3 or D700.
A second choice would be the AF Nikkor 20mm f2.8D but its equivalent to a 30mm lens on your camera. 30mm can be an effective landscape lens so don't count it out.
Always use a tripod for landscapes. Keep the horizon level. Use the camera's self-timer to release the shutter. I usually use a 21mm lens at f16 and focused to 6' since I know from experience that this will give me a Depth of Field from 2' 2" to infinity. I always use Aperture Priority Mode. For the best results use ISO 100 and shoot at your camera's highest resolution.
