Angle Macro Lens

Im buying a Canon 400D with macro&wide angle? whats your opinion?
Im going to buy a Canon 400D for my first professional camera and i want to get a macro lens and a wide angle lens because i love to shoot close up detail and portraiture with the blurred background. The wide angle as i can do landscape and portraiture of groups. I am also looking at doing studio shooting. is there any type of reasonably priced lenses you guys would recommend for these areas? I work in a camera shop so i know that the tamron macro 55-200 is avalible but anything else im quite unsure about. please help!!
I use a Sigma 30mm f/1.4 lens for portraits. 30mm on a 1.6 crop camera is around the same as 50mm for 35mm film cameras. I use a canon 50mm f/1.8 lens for head shots. It's really cheap and still gives fantastic picture quality. Both give great bokeh.
I'd agree in saying wait for the 450D. It takes 14 bit raw photos, which is a huge improvement. It also has Live view which can be handy especially when you hook it up to the computer and take remote shots.
