are these tele converters or something else?
I have an old minolta 7000 that was given to me. I am not experienced with old or minolta cameras. the camera came with three objects that i believed to be teleconverters. but when mounted on my camera with a lens the auto focus goes endlessly. so i try to manually focus and it never clears into an image. the only markings on any of them is there size, 31mm,21mm, and 13mm. the 31mm also says M/AF but i am assuming that stands for manual and auto focus like normal. another thing is that they don't have any lenses in them. I have only used one Item a long time ago that i believed was a teleconverter, but not one hundred percent sure. anyways, it had at least one lens in it. does anyone know what I am dealing with. if they are teleconverters, what am i doing wrong.
They are probably extension tubes used to enable a lens to focus closer to the subject.
Teleconverters have a lens in them and are usually notated with a figure like 1.4x, 1.7x or 2x.
