Canon video camera repair.?
My Canon miniDV camera dropped to the floor and the battery broke. However, it was just the glue and can be glued back together. I need to send it off to Canon. Will Canon repair service do this properly for me? I mailed them a picture of the battery with an explanation and contact information but never got a reply. I am afraid that if I send my battery off, I won't get a reply or get it back.
I've hear stories of Canon doing some very minor repairs for free. I was hoping that they would fix the battery for free.
A battery is probably not worth repairing. Just go buy a new battery.
More importantly, was the camcorder damaged? I suggest testing the camcorder - use the AC adapter for power.
