Does anyone have a JVC GR-C9U Video Movie Camera?
I found an old JVC GR-C9U Video Movie Camera stored away in my tool shed a few days ago, and I was wondering if anyone else has the same model. When was this model released? It looks pretty old. Well anyway, I want to start it up and see if it can still shoot footage with it, but I'm missing the AC adapter/batter charger I guess. Luckily the battery itself was attached to the camera, though it's completely dead of course. Does anyone know where I can buy the AC adapter/batter charger to the GR-C9U for a low price? I found it for $74.95 on the JVC website. That's outrageous! This model seems pretty old to me, so I'm confused why the price is so high. Anyway, any information on this model would be great! Thanks.
The JVC GR-C9U is an old VHS-C video camera and not even worth using. The video will record in analog and would take a converter (to digital) to get the video on a computer to be able to edit, burn DVDs, etc. I see old cams like this one at flea markets and garage sales all the time for as little a $5.00.
You can get the instructions and charger and the camera on eBay for $50.00.
