When I plug the usb cable of my Sony DSC W150 to the USB port,the pictures don't show up on the computer?
The only thing that pops up on the black screen of my camera during the process is ''USB Mode PTP/MTP Memory Stick''. In ''My Computer'' the only icon that comes up is ''Sony Digital Still Camera'',and in it are only the pictures that I made recently (yesterday). Just the day before that it worked fine,but because something was wrong with the USB port of the computer,I went into the camera Menu and changed the mode when the camera was plugged in. Now when I plug everything into a working USB port,I can't go into the camera Menu and change the USB Mode. How can I do it? I really need to get to my earlier pictures soon,I know they're there! Thanks for any help.
I don't really have time to get a card reader,I need the pictures really really soon
Best bet is to pick up a memory card reader and use that.
If the reader isn't detected by the computer then something is wrong with the card.
