How to take a good photos with Canon Powershot A570 IS ?
Hi,
I recently bought Canon A570 IS. I just dont know how to make a good picture in manual mode. All of them are so dark! When i doing in auto mode they looks cool but not as good as i seen on flickr when peoples doing a shot without flash light and they looks good.
And also... do i need to use zoom for macro mode ? Or just click the macro button ?
Thanks!
Let's go through you questions one at a time:
1) Manual mode
ANSWER: Manual mode without flash isn't as simple as just turning it to manual mode and shooting away. In manual mode, you must manually set the aperture and shutter speed. To do this
*Put the switch to M
*Push the lightning bolt button to turn off the flash
*Along the bottom, you get a shutter speed and aperture
*Adjust one variable, then push the +/- button to adjust the other variable.
* To adjust, just push ring on each side of "Func Set" button.
*The screen will show the effects of changing each variable, as long as your flash is off. When the screen is what you want, you can take a photo. It may be dark or black if you're settings will give you a dark photo.
* Use a tripod for a really slow speed or you'll get a blurry photo.
2) Macro mode:
ANSWER: Macro mode is done by pushing the flower button on the back. You can get closer if you are at the widest lens setting, which is what you should use for macro. Push the release to focus.
