Canon video camera isn't working?
Recently, I had to check all of the school's video cameras for errors and make sure they run properly. I don't know the exact model, but it's a Canon and new it cost somewhere around $2800. It's not a camcorder, it's a decent model that used to be high tech in the early 2000s. Does anyone know how to fix the following problems?
-"Remove cassette and clean heads" error
-Camera screen fizzles when moved quickly or has pressure (such as the lock nut for the tripd) applied to the bottom
-Camera with an extremely dark screen where the LCD is barely visible when it's on (the cap is off of the lens, so it's not that)
-Recording looks fine while recording, but when played back, it is missing three or four large rows of video horizontally.
Any help would be appreciated since the school has 11 cameras and only four of them work properly. They're all the same make, but have variations of the problems listed above.
Those are expensive cameras, contact Canon (with camera model at hand) and ask for an authorized dealer/shop for repairs.
