Cap Canon Lenses

I just dropped my Sigma 17-70mm, no apparent damage but will not seat properly.?
So I was switching out lenses, and had unseated the Sigma to get my Canon, when the lens tipped out of the body. I fumbled with it momentarily but it ended up bouncing a few feet across the floor, end over end. I've looked pretty closely at the mount, and from looking at several of my other lenses, I can't see any apparent damage, but when I sit it in the camera body, it can turn about a centimeter the wrong way (counter-clockwise), and is very, very difficult to turn the right way. If I were to turn it hard enough, it would go in the right direction, but I don't want to risk damage to the camera body.
When I put the mount cap on (The cap on the opposite end of the lens cap), it attaches to it just fine, it's only the camera it seems to have trouble mounting to.
Anyone have any ideas on what to look for or what might have been damaged?
Not seating properly is apparent damage. A tiny bending of the mount of less than 0.01 mm is enough to damage your lenses mount.
To prevent further damage and transferring that damage to your camera, do not force the lens any more.
You will want to contact your local camera repair store and get an estimate.
