wide body kit question?
i was reading a thread about molding on a wide body kit, and from the thread it seemed to me that it was saying you have to have a body kit already on the car to put a wide body kit on. is this true? i found a guy selling a complete wide body kit for my eclipse for only 300, and im strongly considering it. but obviously im not going to buy it if it isn't going to fit my car since i don't have a body kit.
a little more info the car is a 99 eclipse, the body wide body kit is fiberglass, and is 12 pieces, 2 front fender skirts, 2 rear fender skirts, 2 side skirts, front bumper which comes in 3 pieces and rear bumper which is in 2 pieces, and the gas cap cover (if you want to count that as a separate piece)
any help is greatly appreciated
the kit is new, the guy never was able to put it on his car before he wrecked it, and i just have good connections for cheap prices
It's not true about needing a body kit. The wide body kit is just that: a body kit. I'm guessing the kit is used, being only $300. Because it's fiberglass, you can expect many little cracks to be on it, or ready to appear. They will show up through the paint and look bad.
