How do I use a canon EOS IX ? A film camera?
Hi I have a few questions. I have always only owned digital cameras and recently was given a canon EOS IX with no manual or anything. I was wondering if you could tell me if this takes a specific kind of film or batteries. Also how do I get the pictures from this kind of camera onto my computer? It did not come with anything but the camera do I need to purchase anything else such as a cord or memory card or something. Thanks so much for taking the time to read this, I am wanting to get into professional photography but am not very "camera smart" just good at the taking pictures. Thanks
Melissa
Go to a book store and you can find a clearance book or two about everything you need to know about 35mm cameras. You will need film of course, 35mm, and you will need a way to develop them. Best bet would be a discount printer like Ritz Cameras or Target, Sams Club, Walmart all do it as well. You can have them put the pics in digital format or you can scan them yourself. Money and convenience would be be factors in that.
35mm is a lot more expensive, but forces you to learn real quick. When every shot costs you, you learn to make them count.
You can also learn to develop the film yourself, good for understanding how photography works, digital too. It's not easy, but again you learn.
If you really want to be a pro then learn it all. It would be a minimum to understand the basics.
