Dropped Canon powershot 1 foot on carpet and lens is stuck?
Last night i dropped my canon powershot a490 on carpet from about one foot up andi guess it landed on the lens cause whenever i turn it on it make a terrible noise when it trys to pull the lens in and the lens cover wont close and i cant navigate on the screen at all because it says 'lens error, will shut down' or something like that
what can i doo???
Buy a new camera or send yours in to get repaired. Don't be surprised if they tell you it will cost $150-$200 to fix yours.
Next time make sure you use the wrist strap so the camera doesn't get dropped.
