Diamond engagement ring advice needed?

I went to about 5 different places looking at engagement rings and want to make sure that I'm getting a good deal. The best one I found was a 0.72 ct princess cut solitaire engagement ring from Wedding Day Jewelers. The diamond specs are: K color, SI1 clarity, 0.72 ct, and 14k gold band. It has a no-nonsense lifetime warranty for free, etc. After band, mounting, tax, etc, the total came to just under $2000. Is this a pretty good deal?

Do you like the diamond? If you do then buy it. (someone else gave the advice to buy online, but don't. You need to see how the light reflects off the diamond.) But if you're still not sure, then just check the prices online. The amount of gold in the ring is also going to determine the price. Gold was very high a few months ago and probably still is now, so I think this is a fair deal.
