looking for a good digtal hd camcorder?

yea so im looking for a hd camera for mainly skateboarding and snowboarding videos.. i was kinda hoping for something under 700$$ dollars

I'd suggest the Canon FS series flash memory camcorders or the ZR series (but not the 950) miniDV tape camcorders.

Hard drive camcorders don't like getting bumped around and cannot tolerate the cold as well as flash memory or miniDV tape. HD is outside your budget (but if you must, Canon HF or HF S or HV series)... so save your & buy or make a GlideCam stunt bar...
