How do I close the detergent cup?
I never have used a dishwasher. I have one now. It's brand new. Hotpoint. When I open the door, there is a rinse screw off lid, an open dispenser, and a dispenser with a round cap that has a straight handle on top of it. I have tried and tired to turn this cap to the right to close the darn thing. It just will not close and lock, as I assume it is supposed to do. What's the sense in putting dishwasher detergent there if it just going to run all out?
