Eyepiece Adapter Canon

how to use a t-mount adapter?
I bought a T-Mount adapter and ring for a canon EOS with a Zumell lens kit but I cant get the mount to fit on the camera because the eyepiece is hitting the sensor of the camera how do I use the t-mount.
This is for Astrophotography. And no I'm not gonna buy a $1000 AstroCamera
Take the eyepiece out. and insert the barrel of the T-mount in the eyepieces place for prime focus work.
