Film Back Matching

120 Film in my Diana?
I recently bought a Diana camera (my first medium format camera) and had a bit of difficulty loading the film.
Firstly, the bottom inside holes were not evenly matched, and the film was really difficult to wind on. I fixed this, but I did it in a cupboard that had small narrow slits of light streaming through. This may seem like a stupid question, but can such a small amount of light affect/ruin the 120 film?
Also, I wound the film too far (I think I got to the 4th exposure) because I couldn't see the numbers, and was just wondering if it is possible to take the film back out of the camera in the dark, wind it back, and start again?
Is a red light suitable to use or does that ruin 120 film as well?
Thanks
When I fixed the problem regarding the tight wheel, I had to open the camera to realign the holes, leaving the film exposed (it had already been wound to an exposure) to the narrow slits of light ...
You may want to take the camera into a camera store and have someone show you how to load it. From then on, you should be fine.
BTW the red window shows you what exposure you are on and since the backing paper is opaque so the small amount of light that does strike the paper will not expose the film
