which cpl filter should i use for the canon EF 17-40mm f/4.0 L lens?
i'm thinking the hoya 77mm but not sure if i really need to spend the extra money on the thin one since i have a canon 20d instead of a full frame camera.
would the Hoya 77mm CPL-0042 be good enough?
There are a couple reasons why I wouldn't get the thin mount, first the extra cost, then being the crop of your 20D, you'd have no vignetting at all - 17mm at 1.6x isn't wide enough to worry. And you can't use a lens cap with that thin mount CPL.
