how do you attach filters to a camera lens? I just sorta pushed it and turned it a bit and it is staying on?
but it will turn 360 degrees. How can I tell if it is securely attached? Also, I ave a uv filter and a polarizing filter - can i put both on at the same time? thanks!
Standard filters literally screw on to the proper sized lens. The rule is that you twist, hand-tight, until they stop twisting. That way, they won't lock on and can be removed.
And as for having the two filters on, you can, but with the UV kept on all the time for the protection of the lens. Remember, the polarizing filter is designed to spin for proper polarization (you'll see the effect through your viewfinder) so it might be trickier to remove.
