Whats a really quiet fish tank filter for a 6 or 10 gallon tank?
I just bought an eclipse 6 tank and to me the filter is loud for my bedroom. I was considering taking it back to petsmart and getting their top fin 10 gallon starter kit. But im worried that filter will be even louder?
I know its better to have a bigger tank but it would be a pain to take all the water out, clean it, and take the tank back. I need helppppp
The water splashing sound isn't even loud at all, I can barely hear it. But its the loud vibrating noise that I can hear that's annoying.
no need to clean it, trust me. just dump it out and pack it back up. they can't just put it right back on the shelf anyway.
I've never had the tank you have, but I do have the filter those things usually come with, and they're quiet.
however, what type of noise is it making? sometimes filters make noises that are easily fixed.

hnm, try placing a napkin under where is touches the tank (above water).
