How do I transfer vhs to dvd using my sony vaio and a firewire cable? Thank you!!?
There is supposed to be place on my computer in "movie maker" that allows this. Supposedly, all I need to do is connect the vcr to the computer, connect the firewire cable, press "record" on the computer, and press "play" on the vcr. Exactly where is "record" found on my computer? Thank you.
Movie Maker will record a video input, but that's only after the the video has been digitized. You still need a video capture card or device to digitize it. Then you have Movie Maker select the input that the capture device is connected to, for recording.
