canon 15mm fisheye or sigma 8mm fish eye on 5d mk2?
I'm looking for a fish eye lens to add a degree of extra creativity to my work, The 8mm sigma offers a completely round fisheye image but I feel it may be harder to compose with compared to the canon 15mm diagonal fisheye lens but then I also want to do spherical images. has anyone any ideas and advice or experience with fisheye lenses
If spherical panoramas are part of your reason for wanting a fish eye, get the Sigma. It'll make things a lot easier.

Besides, it's not like the 15mm will give you conventional compositions. Well, perhaps if you desperately try to keep the horizon in the middle of the frame. But i.m.o. these lenses are for gimmick shots and you might as well go to extremes.
