Flash Synch Cord
I have a Bowens lighting kit and lately when I shoot a polaroid I get a black image even though it flashes.?

The flash goes off, but the image remains unexposed. What could be the problem? Could it be my sync cord? Or is it the flash itself? (this problem occurs when using different cameras and lenses)

Could be several things.

I've had this problem with another unit, and it was the flash element. It needed to be replace. They all go eventually. Check to see if it looks black. It will still fire, but not correctly.

Check to see if it works when you use a very slow shutter speed.

It could be the sync cord, these too fail terribly sometimes, but my money is on the flash element.
