Does anyone know what sort of punishment I'd get for rocking a vending machine to get a free M&M's?
Right, so there's this vending machine downstairs in my dormitory building- you know the ones, with the twisted, screw-like poles, that sort of "unfurl" around their items when they release them- and one of them has unfurled in such a way that it has an extremely tenuous grip on a pack of M&M's. One good shake will undoubtedly knock it loose, no question. The bad part is, there is some item in the ceiling nearby that might be a security camera, and I have no idea where it's looking.
I know many people at this point are just saying "Pay the damn 75 cents and be done with it", but the flip part is, is anyone going to miss me not spending 75 cents? Right now, I'm just weighing the punishments with the rewards, so does anyone know what penalties I'd be given if I was caught in this most felonious burglary?
the people who stock those vending machines know exactly how many items have been sold and how much money they should be able to get from the machine
if there is a security camera you more than likely would be caught in action and if you can be identified, the vending company will probably prosecute
