i3 or i5 Sony E series Vaio? Some gaming!?
Ok I'm looking to get a Sony E series Laptop but I'm struggling to decide if splashing out another 70 pounds is worth the i5. I want to be able to play Diablo 3 when it finally comes out and play STALKER now.
Its between

OR

thanks!
I've got the exact same specs of the second one on my Dell Studio 17 laptop, apart from I have a 500gb HDD.
I can safely say I run Black Ops at 60FPS with most settings on high, with resolution being at 1600x900.
You'll be able to run the most recent games at low to medium, the call of duty series have a great way of optimising the graphics to work on low spec machines.
I also play GTA IV, just about, Bad Company 2 at moderate frame rates, and many more.
I'd certainly invest in the i5 anyway.
I've found that you'll never be satisfied until you have the best you can get. :p
