Advice on what type of extractor hood's best?
I would like to buy an extractor hood for my kitchen.
Are wall mounted built in chimney hoods better than free standing ones you simply need to screw on the wall?
What are the main difference between both and would be best of an kitchen (in an apartment) ??
Are you talking about a range vent hood?
There are basically two type of vent hoods, one recycles the air back into the room and the other vents the air to the outside. They can be stand alone, connected to the wall, vent out through the floor or hang from ceiling.
Determining the best type will depend on the appliance and what kind of venting you plan to use.
