Best Lens for as close as $100 for an Canon Rebel XSI?
I have a XSI with the standard 18-55mm lens, but want a decent, easy to use,and most of all cheap, AF lens that goes to 55-200/55-300 or so.. Any one know where I can find one cheap? Used would be okay if it were in good condition.. I've been looking at the Canon 75-300mm for $175-200

It doesn't have to be this lens, any comparable will be good..
That 75-300 at best buy is a piece of junk. you'd be better off looking at saving more money and getting a better Lens. you don't have to save up to much. the decent 55mm-250mm is only about $200 form ebay. it will give you a much better picture than that old 300mm Lens.
The added 50mm in zoom length will not be noticeable compared to the picture quality.
And if you really can't save for a little while longer, then the nifty fifty would be the only other Lens under $200 I'd recommend.
It's a prime 50mm Lens that is used primarily for portrait work, I would suggest getting this Lens to replace your 18-55mm Lens and the 55-250 for your zoom applications.
