Best place to buy a canon rebel xti battery?
I bought one on ebay for CHEAP, and it takes about 7 shots before it dies. Do I need to buy an official Canon brand one if I want to get 300-600 shots out of it?
What are the different types of batteries (Li-ion, etc)?
I was very reluctant to purchase a non-canon battery for my xti. I went ahead and purchased one from overstock.com
I think this is the one I got for my xti. Check the numbers on your battery and compare to this one or they have many others but mine is a CTA brand. Over 40 good reviews.
