Do digital SLR filters work with regular film lenses?
I'm checking out some filters for my 35mm, and I wondered if the filters used for digital cameras, slr cameras, etc. would work with it. I'm looking to add a filter to a 52 mm zoom lens, and a lot of the filters I look at are for the SLR cameras.

Sure, filters would work just fine. There is really not much or any difference between film lenses and digital lenses. The typical filters you would use on a digital camera like a UV filter, Neutral density filter and circular polarizers will all work fine on a film camera. Many other filters are no longer necessary with digital cameras because you can easily achieve the effect in any editing program. You can use them though if you wish. A good example of these filters would be red or yellow filters typically used in black and photography are no longer necessary with digital.
