d40 w/ sigma 10-20mm. Im getting an over shadow in the bottom center?
Im getting am oval shadow in the bottom center of my pictures when shooting indoors, and at night, using a flash w/ my sigma 10-20 lens. It only happens when i have focal length between 10 to 16. I tryed removing the lens hood, but it just seems to keep coming up. Anyone have advice?

You only real option is to bounce the flash. If you don't have a flash with a bounce head (if you are using an pop-up flash etc.) then you will have to find another way to light your subject.
