I need a wide angle lens for my Nikon d100. Is the 18-55mm Nikon lens it comes with good enough?
Hello! I need a good, wide angle lens that will fit my d100 for doing interior property pictures of homes and businesses. I saw a nikon lens on ebay for 100.00 (cheap, because there is a surplus of them)((its the lens nikon includes with most of there cameras) It is an 18-55. Thanks for any good suggestions! I want to offer good services for my commission! Thanks!
I agree with the others. The 18-55 is a good lens general use lens and quite sharp but it would not cut it indoors. (74 degree field of view)
The tokina 11-16 f2.8 is the best indoor wide-angle lens (104 to 84 degree field of view) and the 12-24 f4 is the best all around lens (99 to 61 degree field of view) but a little slower.
