Do you think its tacky to use the wedding disposable cameras at the wedding/reception?
Im getting married and trying to stick to a strick budget and I would love to have an photographer, unfortunately they are to expensive. I just wanted to know will it look bad if i dont use one.
My sister did this. To this day she's still annoyed with our little cousins who ran around taking photos of walls and peoples shoes and other random unimportant crap.
If you're not having a photographer there for the reception, ask a photo savvy friend to capture a few key moments (cake cutting, first dance, etc) for you. Or, find a photography student to come and take the pictures and have them give you the negatives or digital images on disc rather than have to pay for the full rigamarole of services at a costly company.
The quality on disposable cameras is crap it can be costly to develop, especially when you don't know what will come of the roll.
Are you willing to risk having absolutely no good quality photos of your reception? If so...then go for it.
