What does mean the APO in the Lens Sigma 70-300 APO II Macro"?
and how does work the Macro lens in this Sigma 70-300 APO II Macro? can the lens be divided in 2? is it convenient and reliable? or is it more a gadget?
furthermore do you know if a lens Sigma with a stabilizator does exist like the lens Canon 70-300 IS ?
is a lens Canon 50 1.8 (70£) enough for good quality picture inside a home without flash?
or is it a solution to put the lens 17-85 IS in a mode ISO400-800 to get good picture without flash? (the lens Canon 17-55 IS is too expensive for me) or do you know a Sigma stabilized and as good as the canon 17-55 ?
thanks a lot for your help !!!
Any lens can be used to take photos indoors without flash, but it depends on how much light is available. On a sunny day in a well lit room you may get away with 1/125 at f5.6 at iso 200, but at night with electric lighting this could need 1/30 at f1.8 at iso400, plus of course your white balance would need to be adjusted for the artificial light. Sigma, ike Tamron make good lenses, you won't go far wrong with them.
