What does brands such as Canon, Nikon, Sony, Pentax, Olympus have to offer in DSLRS?
I'm a camera nerd and I've played with almost every camera there is out there except for brands such as Pentax, Olympus, etc.. I've stayed loyal to Canon almost all my life but I still like to play with Sony cameras and Nikon as well. Spec. wise, there are certainly differences and similarities in cameras; which pretty much takes you down to a personal preference. For you photographers out there:
Which brand excels in certain areas? Which brand struggles/and or/ lacks?
I'm interested to hear because I hear good graces about a lot of these cameras but I'm sure of the few I mentioned, one may be more dominant in areas of photography (high ISOs, cost efficient, user friendly, etc..)
You simply can not compare the brands in such a way, they all make mediocre dSLRs and they all make excellent dSLRs.
You have to choose a price point and THEN compare the ones you could get for your money.
