Is there a difference between the 35mm kit for the holga 120 and 35mm panorama kit for the holga 120

First you will be missing out on the amazing vignetting and colour aberrations typically seen when using the 120 film and the plastic lens.

You can create the same panoramas the 35 mm panoramas to using the 120 film and then cropping a 35 mm strip out of the 120 negative.

Otherwise, when shooting with the 35 mm conversion kit, your images will cover 36x35 mm, since the images I have seen do not mask off the film sprocket holes.
