I have 2003 taurus. My battery keeps dying. I replaced the alternator and battery.?
I had both replaced with Ford oem parts. But it keeps happening. What other things can be killing the battery.
Yea you have a draw somewhere. I would check to make sure your glove compartment light goes off, and that you don't leave interior lights on. What you could do is buy a one ohm resistor and attach two wires to it. Then put it in line with your power wire and the battery positive terminal. Turn off the key and attach a mutlimeter to both sides of the resistor. See how high your voltage is. Anything over .5 is too high of a draw on your system. If it is too high. Go to your fuse box start pulling fuses one by one to see if it drops significant. If it does see what the fuse was for and check that out.
