Pentax Super Program

My Pentax super program's shutter is locked. Has been fixed quickly before at a repair shop. Can i fix it?
Like i stated, i have a Pentax super program camera. About every two years the shutter gets locked up and won't fire. ( I think this is related to the camera's battery becoming low). I have taken it to the same repair shop for years when this problem occurs. It literally would take them only 2 minutes to fix the problem. The repair shop is now out of business. Does anyone know how i can fix my camera? Thanks
Even after the battery is replaced the camera won't work.
Replace the battery. It's probably a pair of MS76 or LR44 batteries. Just unscrew the little metal cover with a quarter and there should be two small button batteries in there. Go to the electronics counter at Target or similar stores, and they should have a battery display with lots of small batteries like this. Or order them online.
