photo album help? not a computer album, a real one.?
I recently started to get some of my photographs together to put in photo albums.Some are polaroid photos and others are just pictures taken from a regular film camera.The albums I bought are the kind that you peel away the plastic film,stick the pictures in the album and then roll the plastic back over the photo.My problem is for some reason or another,the pictures are not 'sticking' to the albums.Does anyone know of a safe glue I can use to make them stick without causing any damage to the photos? Some of the pictures are 20 years or older and I just want to keep them nice in the albums..Thanks 
You can get photo mount tabs at most photo stores. They come on a strip backing that you peel off them.
The question I can't answer if whether they'll stick to the backing of the album pages you have. I haven't seen that type of album around for a while. I stopped using them because I found I had the opposite problem to yours: the plastic film stuck to the photos too well, and after a couple of years I was worried about the emulsion coming off the prints.
Sorry about the investment you have in the albums, but I would actually recommend using a different type of album. One with acid -free mounting sheets and a non-stick sheet of tissue between the pages.
