Polarizing Cpl Filter

Are these filters suitable?
I just recently bought a Sony Alpha A290 with an 18mm - 55mm lens, and I am about to be taking it abroad. I have been researching things I might need and a UV filter seems essential, I would also be using it as a lens protector. Would this one be suitable or is it far too cheap? And are the other filters unnecessary? I will be using my camera a lot.

Those are almost suspiciously cheap. But, a UV filter is definitely a great idea for protecting the glass on the front of your lens.
The CPL filter in that pack is a Polarizing filter, which are pretty cool for reducing glare and reflections when shooting through glass or into still water. They also help to bring out definition of clouds in the sky. But, again, at that cheap price, I'd be concerned for the quality.
The other filter in that pack (FLD) is only required for film cameras and not required for digital cameras, since you can set your white balance within the camera itself now. Just change the camera's WB setting to let it know that you're shooting under florescent lights (without a flash) and it will have the same effect as using that filter.
Hope that helps.
