Remote Cord Nikon

What is better to get to use a speed light as an off camera flash?
Should I get a Nikon SU-4 Wireless Remote TTL Flash Controller, a SU-800 Wireless Speedlight commander, or a off camera flash trigger (the wired cord remotes)? What I want to do, or should I say, will be doing with the off camera flash is taking skate photos and wouldn't it be hard to push a remote trigger WHILE taking the pic at the same time? Or is it easier than it looks? Just generally, would it be difficult taking pictures and pushing the remote trigger while pressing the shutter button to take the shot?
In your situation, if you are using the right wireless flash units they will fire when your on camera flash fires ... may be. You neglected to tell us what camera you are using. If it is one with on-board Commander Mode all this is moot. You may want to go into a professional camera store and ask them what the best combination would be for your camera and shooting situation.
You will of course have to do some tests to see which output levels each of your remote flash units need to be set.
Now maybe the most important question. Under what conditions are you shooting these skaters? Can your camera sync with flash units faster than 1/200th second? If you are shooting under sunny conditions, 1/200th second may not be fast enough to "freeze" the action.
If you are shooting in a situation where there is not enough ambient light to effect the scene at 1/200th second, then you will be fine, but of course all the backgrounds will be black.
