What is a REVERSE belly ring, and can it be worn in a regular naval piercing on the top?

What is a REVERSE belly ring, and can it be worn in a regular naval piercing on the top?
***ALSO, is a reverse belly button piercing itself different from a regular piercing on the top, and which one looks better? I heard victoria's secret models have the reverse naval piercing so it doesn't look like a hole. One more thing, if I get a reverse naval piercing instead of a top belly piercing, can I still wear the normal kinds of belly rings that aren't reverse?

where the the bar would go through the top hole to the bottom, where as a regular ring
goes through the bottom hole to the top.

A reverse navel piercing is the bottom navel pierced instead of the bottom, or where some people get both top and bottom pierced

Yes it is different that having the top pierced, personally i think a smaller gauge than a 14g would look nice, like a 16g. Also not everyone looks good with both done, but some look amazing. I would personally like to have my bottom navel pierced as well, im going for a 16g, i have a 14g on the top right now.

I believe you can still wear the regular barbell navel rings if you please.
Someone told me this once "If you want to wear a regular navel ring in your inverse piercing, turn the navel ring upside-down, so that the larger gem is in the navel, and the smaller gem is below" i dont know how true this is, but im sure it would be perfectly fine. If you have anymore questions then ask your piercer or do some more research online.
