How to change a techwood plasma tv screen model 4210 and the best way to do it as I have a replacement screen?
And can anyone tell me where I can get A full service@repair Manual from paper back or book if possible thanks frank w
Well if they're anything like Samsung or Panasonic, you remove the back (put the screws in one pile) then remove the screws at the top and bottom of both vertical braces, then remove the screws on the STAND mount (putting the screws in separate piles for each section) remove the stand mount, then carefully remove any plugs from the main board that connects the speakers and front button controls. Unplug any side boards, because you will be using the vertical braces to lift the plasma panel up and away from the front frame.
Try lifting it and see if the frame separates from the plasma panel...if not, identify and remove any brackets on the sides or top, also note that there may be a MAJOR bracket holding it at the bottom possibly...
You should be able to easily lift the plasma panel out, with all the boards attached....
Your NEW replacement screen generally comes WITH all the boards, except the power supply and the main board, which you transfer over to the new panel.
Then you just reverse the order you removed parts/screws.
You'll find the screw-piles to be easier to reinstall ALL the screws in the right place, and you can MARK all the screw-holes during disassembly to verify which holes to screw into.....
