Screw Mount Panasonic
I was installing an amp and when I went to mount the screws in the back I moved something and audio died.?

The headunit is a Panasonic CQ3301U and when I moved the back around something shut down the whole stereo from headunit to amp. I've checked the fuses and nothing is blown. The headunit fuse is still working. The amp is not powered even when the car is turned on. I was wondering if it was a grounding issue or what.. The car is a 1997 Mitsubishi 3000GT base non-turbo.

sounds like your wiring is messed up if your head unit isn't working then there is a power wire loose and if the amp isn't working the remote wire is loose or not connected but with the power on the head unit not working i would say start there first and see what happens then and also when installing or mounting an amp or head unit so you don't blow anything up it is recomended to disconnect the pos. terminal from the battery
