Warranty seal broken, 360 red light repair?

My 360 recently started displaying the 3 red light error. I opened the system and repaired it for about a month, but it started displaying the error again. Will Microsoft repair under the new 3 red light warranty if the warranty seal is broken?

Microsoft will only repair the system for free IF the system has not been previously registered by anyone else and if the seal is intact. If the system has been registered by someone else, the repair cost is about $104.00.
Unfortunately Microsoft will not repair that XBOX360 that has a broken warranty! Trust me I have already tried. You can call their service number and they will go through the steps on sending you a box to send it to their repair center in Texas. BUT once a tech looks at the system and sees that the seal has been broken, they will ship it back to you with a letter informing you that the seal was tampered with. I would try ebay, though. There are some good sellers that can fix your problem plus add an upgraded cooling system and fan so those RED RINGS OF DEATH do not come BACK!!! I hope this info helps you!!
