Set Lens Gears

adjust headlights Rav4?
2002 Toyota Rav4, I've adjusted plenty of headlights in my time, but this seems difficult.
The whole inner plastic housing is black, and all I can find to adjust is a white plastic hex which turns a gearing. I'm not sure if that's for sideways or up/down. I haven't been able to find TWO sets of these white gears, so am unsure. The one I found is easy to see right away on upper back side of housing. Is the other one hidden?
I can't see any adjustment thru front, lens cover is flush with frame. thanks.
I think there is only ONE adjustment and it is vertical - higher and lower. That is the one you found. The theory being that the lenses and reflectors are made accurately enough so that they don't require any side to side adjustment. Also the lenses will be designed specifically for either left or right drive cars depending on which side the steering wheel is placed - so no need for side to side adjustment.
Oh - BTW the little gear thing you found accepts a phillips type screw driver to turn the gear. You might (?) find a little arrow on the housing that shows direction of adjustment according to which way you turn it - or maybe not.
