Sony tele-conversion lens vcl-2052k - Is this Video or Photo?
The "VCL" would make me think it's a camcorder lens, but I was curious if it can also be used on Sony Digital SLR cameras?

teleconverters for SLR cameras normally mount between the primary lens and the camera body. this arrangement allows the entire zoom range of the main lens to be used.
screw on teleconverters were made primarily for consumer camcorders because they have a non-removable main lens. a 2x converter like this only works in the tele range of the main zoom.
the VCL2052 works with a 25mm filter ring size, i can't imagine any SLR lens with a filter size this small, they are more commonly twice that size. Consumer camcorders use very small CCD imagers so that is why they have lens with such a small filter size.
