Teleconverter End Lens
I own an Olympus Evolt E-500. What is the difference between a telephoto conversion lens and a teleconverter?

A telephoto conversion lens seems to attach to the end of the lens, and the EC-14 1.4 teleconverter goes between the lens and the body. The EC-14 is substantially more expensive. Will I be happy with the converter lens (e.g., the Everfill conversion lens)?

Generally speaking, anything you attach to the end of the lens will not perform as well as a dedicated teleconverter that goes between the lens and the camera body.

While more expensive, the results are worth the investment.
