Questions about lenses for the kodak z981?
I guess this isn't a very popular camera, so buying a new lens for it isn't that straightforward. I want to get it off amazon, and they have this fisheye lens for it http://www.amazon.com/Panoramic-Fisheye-LensFor-Digital-Camera/dp/B004D0O0AE/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1312493069&sr=8-1
But I can't tell if I'm supposed to buy that fisheye lens along with this adapter http://www.amazon.com/db-Lens-adapter-Kodak-Z981/dp/B004V3MJE2/ref=sr_1_1?s=photo&ie=UTF8&qid=1312493036&sr=1-1 or if I can use it by itself.
On the fisheye lens, it says in the description "* PLease Note: Adapter Tube / Ring will be provided if needed". What does that mean?
It also says for the fisheye lens that it's commonly bought along with the adapter though.
I just don't understand if I can just buy the fisheye alone or if I need the adapter too.

The camera pictured in the abovementioned link used both adapter tube to extend the filter thread beyond the lens of the camera (the fixed lens moves inside the tube) and an adapter ring to convert the tube's size down to the semi-fisheye's size. When you buy your fisheye, get it at the size of your lens filter to avoid using additional adapters.
That's my son's DX7590 and my semi-fisheye lens. That's a 2004 camera with a film-era semi-fisheye lens adapter. I'm pretty sure the camera has outlived its warranty 6X over. 
Kodak cameras are the most misunderstood yes, but that doesn't mean they can't take decent pictures. Here's a shot taken by that camera without the semi-fisheye adapter.
