Good camera bag that fits 2 SLR bodies and multiple lenses?
I need a solid camera case that will fit all of my gear. This is what I have:
Canon T1i Body
Canon 7D Body
Canon EF 28-135mm f/3.5-5.6 IS USM Lens
Canon EF-S 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6 IS Lens
Canon EF 100-400mm f/4.5-5.6L IS USM Telephoto Zoom Lens
Canon EF 70-200mm f/4L IS USM Telephoto Zoom Lens
I want something that will fit everything plus all my extras like chargers, flashes, filters, memory cards, etc. I am also wanting it to be somewhat comfortable. I was looking at the Lowepro Vertex 200 but it is a little too boxy for me. Any suggestions?
My backpack can hold everything you listed as well as my notebook and 1 tb external drive, but the 100-400 mm lens would be a problem I think. My 200-400 mm f/4 is just too big.
I carry two dSLR's, a 12-24 mm, 24-70 mm, 70-200 mm and 18-200 mm as my basic pack. If I am shooting full frame, I carry a 14-24 mm and a 28-300 mm keeping the 24-70 mm and 70-200 mm in the pack with one D3 and one D300 body
What I did was visit my local professional camera store with all my gear and just started trying out the various backpacks they had in stock. I went to two different stores and eventually picked out the backpack that was best for me.
My guess is no matter what backpack you buy, it is going to be a compromise. Boxy is an aesthetic problem, not one that would bother me. I just want my camera carrying device to work for me.
