Is it possible to get a wide angle or fisheye lens "Re-done" or resurfaced?
I heard about sending off DVDs to get the bottom cut off a little bit and then adding another layer of what ever it is to it. Is it possible for this to be done with my mildly scratched fisheye lens?
Many people wont polish lenses anymore as the elements are so soft and can easily be polished out of shape, the act of polishing also removes the anti-flare coatings (especially on fisheye lenses), new front elements for modern lenses is generally the only solution.
